World Forum on Energy Regulation IV took place in Athens in October 2009.

Two major outcomes of WFER IV were the creation of the new International Confederation of Energy Regulators (ICER); and secondly, the agreed World Energy Regulators’ Statement on Climate Change agreed by energy regulators worldwide.

Both affirm energy regulators’ commitment to international cooperation.
